The Mean Angel: part 2

Sarah's mouth dropped open. A rabbit! That bully got a rabbit for being an 'angel'. She couldn't believe it! It twitched it's pink little nose and squirmed in Robert's arms. Robert turned his head and smiled as his mom, Mrs. Saffer, and the teacher, Ms. Pazz, entered the room. "Well hello, Robert." Ms. Pazz greeted him. "A fine day for a sweater I think." Why isn't she scolding him for bringing a rabbit to school? She wouldn't let me bring my cat to school and everybody knows cats are cleaner than rabbits, Sarah asked herself. Robert smiled at Ms. Pazz and replied, "Yes ma'am, a cold day indeed." Mrs. Saffer put down a shiny blue cage with a carrot and hay inside. It was very neat and Sarah guessed it had been cleaned out right before they left. "Here's Rocky's cage dear. Don't forget to feed him after lunch time." Mrs. Saffer reminded him. Robert smiled again and said, "Don't worry mom. I won't." "That's my boy." She said and left for home. Sarah thought, why they've planned this out! Including the teacher! She burned with rage, but tried to hide it. It wasn't fair! If Robert could bring a smelly rabbit to school, why couldn't she bring a graceful cat? "Let's take a seat and talk about the changes to our schedule today." Ms. Pazz began. Sarah sighed. It seemed she was in for a long day of Robert.
